Your safety is our top priority. Being prepared can make all the difference during a breakdown. Here's how Madam Towing helps you stay safe and informed.
Your safety comes first
If your vehicle has broken down or been in an accident:
IF there are any injuries, fire, or any danger, call 111.
- Please turn on your hazard lights and if possible open the bonnet/hood
- If it’s safe to do so, move away from traffic and wait in a secure spot.
- Avoid standing near the road or between vehicles.
- If you’re unsure, stay inside your vehicle and wait for our instructions.
Provide clear information when you call
The more we know, the better we can respond. Please share:
- Your exact location (a dropped pin or landmark is helpful).
- Your vehicle's make, model, color and registration.
- A brief description of the issue (e.g. breakdown, crash, flat tire, stuck off-road).
- Whether you feel safe, or if it’s an urgent situation.
This helps us prepare the right equipment and get to you as efficiently as possible.
Before we arrive
If it’s safe and you're comfortable doing so:
- Ensure the keys are available.
- Let us know if there are any special circumstances (e.g. broken steering, stuck brakes, pets in the vehicle).
If you can’t do any of this, that’s completely okay, we’ll take care of it when we arrive.
On arrival - What to expect
When we get to you:
- We’ll introduce ourselves and talk you through the next steps.
- Please keep a safe distance while the truck is operating, the tilt tray has moving parts, and your safety is our priority.
- We’re happy to answer any questions and will let you know when everything is secure.
